Self-introduction of the project manager to stakeholders

I’m Marta Cooper, the new Project Manager at the company. I’m excited about working here and developing. I’m glad to be able to use the knowledge I have and hope to contribute to the future success of the company.

I’ve been in project management for a year and a half. What sets me most at ease is the dynamic and the ability to work with professionals from many different fields of activity. I had the opportunity to work on projects of different nature, which taught me to always look for another perspective. In my opinion, communication is a key point in my profession and is one of the main drivers for the success of a project.

This past week I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the work atmosphere and meet some of the team. I realized that they had some difficulties in working with the previous Project Manager. For me, the human factor is critical, and I know that for a project to be successful, it requires good communication and teamwork. I want to get to know the team and find out more about what difficulties they encounter in the work process, to get an idea of what direction we should take. I hope to start clean and put an end to the previous misunderstandings. I am aware that any change takes time, but I believe that together we will build confidence and be able to optimize the workflow so that it is as comfortable as possible for everyone.

I have looked at the company website in detail, I have heard about most of the projects, but I do not know them in detail. I would be glad to tell you more about the company and the products we offer. I would also like to know what are the main challenges we will have to face, and what are our goals for the future? I want to ask you what your expectations are for me? In terms of how it works, can you show me sample documents that you have used for projects that have already been completed so that I can get acquainted with them in detail?

Self-introduction of the project manager to project clients

My name is Marta Cooper, and I will be the project manager of your project. I am glad that I will be able to work with you and lead the communication related to the project. I will try to immerse myself in the specifics of your business as much as possible to be sure of your needs and expectations. I hope that together we will define the requirements of the project. I will need you about the specifics related to the project. I hope I can count on your assistance with any questions you may have.

There are several things in the process of work that are very important to us to achieve the desired result. First of all, this is the feedback during project implementation. You must send us a reasoned opinion so that we can comply with it as much as possible.

Please send me the contact details of your project supervisor and give me a little more information to whom I can address the various issues raised during the implementation of the project.

Another important clarification is the timely provision of the resources you need. It is a good idea to provide us with the necessary materials for the implementation of the project in the beginning so that we can have them available. Of course, this is one of the factors on which the implementation of the project depends on the deadline.

Also, please send me examples you like to guide us in what direction to work.

For my part, I assure you that the project team will do everything possible to get the desired end product.

You can contact me with any questions by email or contact me by phone if you need further clarification!

Self-introduction of the project manager to the project team

My name is Marta Cooper, and I am the new Project Manager at the company. I want to tell you a little more about myself and my experience. I am 25 years old, and I am from New York City. I have completed my Master’s degree in Digital Marketing at New York University and California University. I am also a writer on the online magazine I wrote the article Business Value-Oriented Project Management (BVOPM). Digital marketing or online marketing, in my opinion, is the ability to make consumers believe in your idea, product, without even actually seeing it. I say this because I find many commonalities with project management. The ultimate goal is to satisfy customers and provide the desired product/service. And their work process requires the ability to build confidence, define customer needs, and bring the product/project to the expected outcome.

I’ve been in project management for a year and a half. I worked at a web agency that deals with the development of websites, online stores, and mobile applications. My work is extremely dynamic. It meets me with many people, specialists in a field, from whom I can learn daily. This is the thing that gives me the most pleasure, and I enjoy doing what I love as banal as it sounds.

I worked on projects from different fields of activity that I wanted to get the most out of. In my opinion, the most important thing for a project is to put yourself in the client’s place and understand how his business works. My role as Project Manager is to strike a balance between the clients, the team and the company management. To present to the team the business model of the client in the easiest and most accessible way. To compile a detailed assignment with its requirements and to monitor its implementation in order to achieve the desired success.

I realized that you had a lot of problems and differences from the previous project manager. I cannot take a position on this, as I have not been involved in the work process.

My wish is to start working clean. I want to get to know you and find out what your strengths are and what direction you want to develop. I would be glad if you would let me know what difficulties you encounter in the process of building a project so that we can define them together and track what they are due. Communication is essential to me, so don’t hesitate to tell me if something bothers you or you have suggestions that would improve your workflow. I believe that our work is a team and I hope that I can count on each of you. I want to build a new working method that is as effective as possible for everyone.

And to break the ice, I want to say a few words about my other passion. I am a soul traveler. I have a bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University. I love the mountain very much, but my sea is even weaker. For me, the best way to relax is to pack a suitcase or take a backpack and get away from everyday life. In this regard, I have a proposal for the weekend. I suggest taking a walk to the mountain to relax and get to know each other. We can accept different board games, balls, etc. to make the walk more fun. If you are interested, please let me know within a few days to arrange it.
